Pursuing knowledge with excellence involves so much more than just teaching a child to do well on school assignments.  Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).  Teaching children to respect, love, and obey God is the framework for the biblical worldview that permeates our classes, curricula, and discussions.  Whether the textbook is secular or Christian in nature, the faculty of Parkerson STEM Academy seeks to deepen students’ understanding by presenting material through the light of God’s Word (Psalm 119:30). Through this lens students interpret data, consider perspectives, evaluate information, and discern truth from error.

In our efforts to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century, we encourage students to refine their study habits, articulate their thoughts, and defend their beliefs.  Elementary students are challenged to think outside the box in multiple disciplines as they integrate learning throughout the day.  Middle school students benefit from courses covering topics such as note taking, test preparation, and time management.  High school students analyze and evaluate information through logic and speech courses.  Our correspondence program provides adult students with a distance learning experience that provides the opportunity to earn a high school diploma from anywhere in the world.  It is our desire that our students think critically and achieve academically to the fullest potential.
